u7135 will not work---help!!

I bought a used programmer from ebay. I checked the programmer and it said last tune written was the origional tune. I updated the programmer to the latest tune for the 09 challenger srt8 manual which is 9r17. When the programmer boots up it says v.9r17 on the screen so I know that part is ok. When I try to go to tunes it just says try again. I read the manual and saw where it says that you need to go into options then troubleshooting and then reset the "live table reset" Live Table Reset = Reset this when Predator is used on a different vehicle. I do not show this option on my unit.---help

Along the same lines I have a V9R17 also. My car is an Srt8 Auto and there is no Shift firmness program in the modify program that I can find. It loads a canned tune and I have reset the TCM . Am I overlooking something??
