Silly Predator Question

With all the viruses hitting PC's and even the latest one (whatever it's called)
is there any way that it can corrupt the crom files and end up corrupting the Predator? i don't think it can affect my car (dodge charger), but viruses are getting more cleaver these days

It's doubtful. I don't know anything about the OS the Predator devices are running nor do I know anything about the file structure of the CROM files yet, but I'm not aware of any cross platform virii/trojans that jump from Windows 2000/XP/VISTA/7 to a proprietary embedded OS (the Predator) to another proprietary embedded OS (your car's ECU). I would say that's even less likely if you have a Mac or Unix box.

If this ever did happen, the first place I would look for suspects is the Diablosport software developers.

Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what the Predator uses? Parallax/BasicStamp maybe?
