2007 Charger SXT V6

hey guys, I recently updated from the 9r03 crom to the 9r04, I must say its great to see the rev meter go up and down faster than usual, but since I updated I feel like I've lost some torgue or the feel of the shift point when it changes say from 1st to 2nd gear. I was wondering is there any possibility you can reprogram the predator for the old calibration or if theres a file i can downlaod to sort it out? I re-installed the 9r03 crom and uploaded it into the car and it feels close to the old version however its the new "smooth shifting" that seems to be new. im guessin its from the calibration update which it required for the 9r04 file.
Any help would be greatly appreciated
Thanks

There really is no way of downgrading your calibration.
What exactly is it that you do not like about the new upgrade?
If you want post the last tune written up here or e-mail it to me so i can verify that everything got programmed correctly.

basically its the lack of torque, the smooth shifting i really do not like...and with the old crom file i felt like the car was eating up the road which made me love it more than anything. the ESP for example im guessing also changed even when i switch it off and for example take a left turn or something it doesnt skid anymore it just slows down to 1200 rpm which makes it feel a little less than what it used to.

dont get me wrong for safety the new calibration is great and for smoothness in driving definetly.. but I might be the only one saying this i preffered it before because it felt like I was racing and speeding and just having the new calibration has taken that experience away from me, in all honesty it feels like driving somehing other than a charger. I would go for a custom tune but no one in my country knows much about your company sadly or your great products, isthere any possibility for a custom tune from here ?

ya, the new CROM or calibration is a bit less noticeable on the shift firmness increase.

although the rpms might not drop AS far during shifts.

my preference: i'm cool with it as is, but if the old style of shifts would return, i definately would use em.

basically its not as lacking as stock, where the engine pulls timing, but you just dont get that "lunge ahead" feeling as you did with revisions 1 and 2.

maybe this is something you all did to reduce wear on the trans or tires or something? not sure. but as said above, the initial shift "punch" or "lunge" while changing gears isnt there anymore.

I've uploaded my last written tune and attached it. Basically when you accelerate and the car is under stock settings, during the shift, you hear the "Buhhhhhrrrr" which is the engine pulling timing.

The last crom i was using before this was the 9r02 version, so basically i skipped the 9r03 and went straight to 9r04 which required the calibration update.

with the currently installed 9r04 it doesnt shift as nearly as hard/crisp as it used to. in fact it actually gives the sound as when stock and timing is pulled during the shifts. although the "buhhhhrrrrr" sound is far shorter.

was this done to save the transmission some or for a more comfy shift?

also, were there any changes to the actual tunes, such as timing and fuel additions done? granted i know its just idle feelings while driving, but it seems more torque-ish during acceleration now.

have there been any changes to the timing and fuel specs over the 4 revisions?

Lastly, i'm picking up some JBA headers soon. is there any reccomendations on adding fuel with the 3.5L V6 at the WOT range??
