Check Engine keeps coming on

My check engine light comes on about 250 miles after I install
the perfomance tune. If I put the stock tune back in, the light
is gone. Then I put the performance tune back in and the light
is gone for about 250 miles. Would welcome suggestions;

have you checked to see what the actual code is?
if so, whats the code thats causing the CEL?

yeah, what's the trouble code or codes it's throwing??? use the predator to scan for 'em and let us know what they are...

at the first menu where it should have menus for tuning, diagnostics, and options go to diagnostics. in there you will have an option scan codes or scan DTC something like that. do it and tell us the codes

I finally got the trouble codes,PO442,PO650,and PO654 whats the next step?

P0442 Evap Emission Ctrl Sys Leak Detected (smallleak)
P0650 Error Indicator Lamp (MIL) Ctrl Circ Error
P0654 Eng RPM Output Circ Error
That's what the codes are, what that means I don't know, I ain't no mechanic.

P0442 i think is a vacuum leak but im not certain
P0650 im not sure but sounds like an error on the actual PCM
P0654 sounds like a tach gauge error

Yeah, clear them for now.
I also wonder if you have driven the stock tune long enough to set these codes, since I see no reason they would be related to the tune.
When you restore the backup, it clears all codes, and resets the OBDII drive cycles, so it may take a while to set these same codes after flashing back to stock.

I cleared the codes, the light is off and its running great. I"ll see what happens next.
