o2 sensor

I have a 2002 silverado 5.3 with the u7198 and I was just wondering if there is a way I can disable the rear o2 sensors the take off the cats?
any info would be helpful I am kinda new with this thing and not sure what to look for

not with the programmer, with a custom tune yes.
You would have to post a copy of your original tune and a copy of tune currently installed and someone from Diablo should be able to help you out.

well, it depends on what revision your 7198 is on... if it's still an older 2.xx revision, then yes, you can disable them yourself...
if it's a new version predator on a 9rxx revision, then no, you can't, and you have to get a custom tune created like Canuck said...

Cheapest solution: Buy a serial to USB cable from anywhere on the net. Look for a 12V power supply with a low AMP rating (I can't remember off hand what I used) with a plug that will fit your Predator. You might even have something around the house that will work. Just make sure the AMPS are low enough not to fry the damn thing.

amps dont matter its the volts that kills em.

12V 1 AMP is what Diablo says you need.

true but if someone had a power supply for a cb radio or airplanes that was 12 or 13.8 volts it will work. cause the cars charging system is higher than that. most put out 14.4 or so volts
just talking here keeping everyones options open
