2003 dodge diesel/ download problems

i just bought a u7130 from a friend version 8r27 so i downloaded the latest installer and the latest version. when i went to update to download crom file i followed instructions it said tool ready to download, so i started the download then it immediatly gave a message download failed unable to read tool power up message. whats goin on how do i fix it.

Are you using the latest dsdownloader?
Did you let it autoconnect.

yes just downloaded all new versions yesterday, it auto connects everything works until i start to download crom to the predator i follow the instructions turn off and back on predator the it says tool is ready i click yes to download then it stops and says download failed unable to see tools powerup message

Sounds like an issue with the cable....

i have a gigaware serial to usb cable from radioshack what other cable would u recomend

Try rebooting the PC maybe?

it was the cable i took that cable back and bought a 20 dollar usb adapter and a 4 dollar db9 serial cable and it worked perfect. on a different note my truck was is the shop had 6 new injectors put in but now it runs like crap. no program installed it still roughs bad they r rechecking tomorrow but has anyone heard of anything like this, its puffing and running rough before it had a slight miss so i had my buddy at dodge run a scan with a drb scan tool 3,4,6 injectors runnin low so i sweet talked them into changing all 6. i hope it is some stupid a sensor or something. any input would be good
