how to just get torque out of my diablosport

i just updated it with revisons.
i have a 08 gmc sierra with the 4.8l engine. the only mods i have are an intake and dual exhaust.

is there a way i could just get more torque out of my unit and not hp?

The 2 are closely related, generally gains in torque will always yield gains in HP as well.

The Predator isn't the issue with lack of torque, its the 4.8l under the hood.

I have heard loss of torque "problems" associated with going too big on the exhaust or having duals on these 4.8s and even 5.3s. If there is a way you could reduce the the size of the pipes coming off your muffler (outlet) you will get some of the torque back. These engines breathe pretty well so taking too much back pressure off the engine will kill some torque. I was advised by a GM mechanic/tuner to stay with a single pipe and get a different muffler (for sound mostly).

You have heard correct!
If you were to remove the rear O2 sensor and connect a pressure guage, then start the engine and allow it to warm up to OT, then bring the RPMs to 3000 and hold it steady, you need to have between 2 and 2.5 psi positive pressure for them to run ideal.
