2007 Chevy 2500 HD - NEW BODY

I just tried to install a program from my new Predator - message says there is no information on my engine in its database, even though I downloaded the latest "crom" file just an hour ago. The message said I would need to update it with a newer crom file. The 8r06 file I just installed IS the latest and newest file you have.

My truck is the NEW 2500 with the NEW 6.0 liter engine...Chevrolet claims it is not the same as the older 6.0 liter and is NOT the same engine that they install in their 2007 half tons or SUV's. Even so, I was told earlier, by Mike I believe, that the U7194 was the Predator model I needed.

So, now what??

Just tried the installation again and still the same message. The tool cycles between saying that I have the wrong part number and that there is no info on my vehicle in its database and saying that a newer update is needed - which of course it has the latest (8ro6) update.

Here is the VIN for the Truck: 1GCHK23K87F533002

The tool provided the following CAL-ID's:
12618277, 12618297, 12618289, 12618321, 12618281, 12618279, 12615435, 12615489.

I have a bit more info on the tool serial #, build date, version, etc. if you need them.

Thanks,
Joe

same for me

yes, there are new CAL IDs for the 2500HDs. I have the same cal ids on my 2500HD. I called tech support, they said they would have a new crom release by next week.

I hope so.

So, I was promised they would have a new release to address the new CALIDs by monday, it is now Wednesday, and nothing.

Can someone tell me when the new CAL IDs will be supported. I currently have my Predator which is a really expensive paper weight.

Sometimes these types of issues take some time to work out.
We will get this squared away as soon as possible.

Thanks

Bump again.
still no CAL ID updates for OS 12618277 etc.
Quote from guy on phone "it could be 2 weeks or 2 months"

I guess an alternative is to get EFI Live (EFIlive.com) and get another tuner, at least I know EFI live supports 12618277

I can understand a small company like DS has limited resources. The least they could do is do a little more homework and tell you which vehicles it WONT work on, or at least tell you WHEN it will come.

You ever go to a restaurant and put your name in to get seated?

What this is like, is you call the restaurant, make a reservation, place a $300 deposit, and then get to the restaurant to tell you it may take 5 minutes to seat you or 3 hours, but we will keep your $300 deposit.
