2005 Mustang GT 95mm tune with WMS 95mm Intake
Anyone running the WMS 95mm CAI with the generic 95mm MAF tune? I just installed the intake and am going to be getting a dyno tune once my nitrous install is completed, So far everything seems to be running awesome Im avoiding temptation to run it too hard till I know its not running lean or anything but there is def a huge power increase over the AFE intake it replaced! So far I have installed 4.30 gears, magnaflow exhaust and the WMS 95mm Intake, currently waiting for the rest of my parts to install ZEX 75-175 HP nitrous, I still get over 26mpg at 70mph and am very impressed with the diablo sports ease of use and outstanding results!

Glad you are happy with the performance increase to your vehicle. Do you have any check engine lights displayed on your dash? If not you should be very close on the tune.

Nope there is no codes present everything seems great, I have driven a little over 100 miles so far and no problems not running hot nothing seems to be off but with only 11,000 miles on the engine Id really rather not run it hard and find out something isnt right till I get it on the dyno and know for sure its safe... Car will be going to Techmotion in Calgary Alberta for tuning once Zex kit is installed cant wait to see what another 125 hp will do!

the motives will make a lot of road noise. We used to get a ton of complaints with them for daily drivers.
RE: 2005 Mustang GT 95mm tune with WMS 95mm Intake
Ive only used motive gears in the last 15 cars and jeeps Ive built ive never once had a set of motives that made any noise at all, and Ive never had a single gear failure even with absolute abusive driving and in the case of the last Jeep losing preload on the pinnion twice, Motive gears are hands down the best gear for the money. If you have gear noise your not setting up the gears properly.

RE: 2005 Mustang GT 95mm tune with WMS 95mm Intake
Car is finally out of the shop, running like a top with "NO" gear noise at all even with the helical gear truetrac! There is a huge improvement in traction over the stock diff, and while the car is slightly less aggressive with the 3.90s over the 4.30s the gearing now matches much closer than before and must match the tourque curve of the engine very well as I recently raced a 2010 SRT challenger 6 speed from 60-130mph and there was no difference between the cars side by side the entire way! Now just gotta finish the nitrous install and get the shiny new meziere electric water pump installed and then track down that over priced ugly challenger for a rematch!!
