06 dodge magnum SRT 8 1/4 mile time

u7135 9r08 went to the track on friday night. I ran a 12.53 at 111 miles per hour. There was a guy there that had a 2010 camaro SS LS 3. 426 hp. He was looking for a race. One of the car club guys has a 2009 Challenger R/T. They pulled up to stage and when the lights went green on the tree all the camero saw was the back of that Challenger. He did not come back to the pit area he left the track with out saying anything.

Should have raced him with the Magnum. Great 1/4 mi time and speed! You must have jumped out of the first 60'. Did the Challenger have a Predator also?

Ya we all have them. Who would want to be without one at the track. As for raceing him with the Magnum SRT-8 we all wanted to see what the Challenger R/T could do. Now we know.

What mods do you have? Thats a pretty impressive time. Best ive done is a 12.72@110

What were the ET's and speeds of the Challenger and Camaro? That Camaro should break 110mph stock, but it has a 6 speed with that motor so the driver has to actually drive well to run it to its potential.

I have not been very impressed with the stock Challengers I have seen at the track. However, I have been very impressed with the modified SRT Chargers and 300's I have seen. Those heavy cars are putting out some serious horsepower to run over 110mph. A guy at Infineon with a modified SRT Charger NA has hit 117 mph! I want a 6 speed Challenger that can do that and pass CA smog! The new Challengers look MUCH better than the new Camaro's in my opinion. Maybe a RT Challenger with that new blower from Saleen. Now that would be a sweet setup!
