predator from 2000 Lightning work on a 1999 lightning?

I have a 1999 Ford lightning and I am thinking about buying a predator from a guy that has a 2000 ford lightning. My question is, will it work? Will diablo sport reflash the predator to work for my 1999? how much will that cost? THanks

As long as your buddy restores the original backup to his truck so it will unlock itself from his truck. You can then use it on yours.

So I don't have to get it reflashed? even though the computer codes are different?

1999 code = CXU1
2000 code = CXU2

the predator contains support for 1999-2004 Lightning and Harley s/c Truck. No need to get reflashed.
