I have the Diablo Sport Predator U7198 and I having trouble with it. When I plugged it in to do a tune it stopped in the middle of it and said there was a communication error. Now my truck will not start at all. Now every time I plug the tuner in and try to do either Tune it or Diagnostics a error message occurs saying, NO Response. Is Ignition ON? Press ESC to Cont.
Well after several times of trying and making sure the ignition is on, still nothing. I've tried disconnecting battery and still nothing. Any help would be apprecitated with this. By the way my vehicle is a 2001 Chevrolet 2500HD 4x4 with the 6.0l V8.

RE: U7198 Problems..
It would appear that your PCM is cleared off.
Unless you physically caused the tool to stop writing (turned off the key or unplugged the unit while writing) then you must have had a low voltage situation.
The PCM likely needs to be reflashed. This can be done at any GM dealer or if you would like you can contact us to have the PCM sent in to be reflashed here.
Thanks

I have an 02 Silverado with a 6.0L and I am having the same problem and need the final resolution. Did the dealership fix the problem? If so, what did the dealer charge you.mikel wrote:It would appear that your PCM is cleared off.

I recently had my reflashed as part of a TSB for the 2-3 shift clunk. It wasn't covered under my extended warranty. It ended up costing me about $50.00.
