I have a 7146 for my 2002 mustang GT. it is the latest revisiion r07b.

I installed the 93 tune modified with an 8% retard in spark advance in 2-4 an 4-7. Is that the only thing that is really different between the 2 tunes? I'm extremely new to this ( first time actually ) so just going by what I've read on here.

I used 8% instead of 6% like I saw some one do for 91 octane because I'm running 90 octane. Can get 91 octane if it would really benefit, is just a little inconvienent.

Does this sound right, or should I be changing some thing else, or changing the retard to 6 instead of 8%?

Changed it to 4% retard and not hearing any noise or anything. A little hard to tell though with my exhaust set up. ( BBK Shorty Tuned Length Headers, Off road X Pype, SLP Loud Mouth 2 Catback )

When in doubt, throw your ride on a dyno to be safe

Tempted to, just have so much other stuff I need the cash for. Bought a new 3650 transmission to replace mine since 3rd gear is now unbearable. Also need to get my 3.73s installed that were sitting around for the last 5 months.
