Updating U7194 from 8r05 to 8r06

Received new unit today. Unit at version 8r05. Tried to update to 8r06 on 2 different computers and tried with both serial port and usb port connections. One computer has Windows 2000 and the other has Windows XP Professional. The good new is that I get the same message on each computer whether using serial or usb.... "Download Failed". Please help with any ideas/suggestions. Thanks.

I assume you had the driver for the USB to DB9 cable installed?
I just completed the same update yesterday with no problems (after I got the USB to DB9 cable driver installed). Installed from Windows XP.

I understand.. Once I couldn't get the USB connection to work I went direct with the serial port and still could not get it to download.

Make sure you have the COM ports and baud rates set up properly.
Give us a call if you cant get it to go.
