F250 6.0L Blowing white smoke and losting power

Post by tea059708 »

Hey all you fellow chippers............I have the newest release on my chip. The 7R45, and After I install it to the truck about 3 months went by and then it hit. My truck started jerking as I hit the gas pedal and hugh clouds of white smoke would roll out the exhaust, and then it I kept on it would finally take of in a big hurry. What is going on????? I know with white smoke it means air in the fuel, but why is the chip causeing this to happen. It is almost like the chio is getting my truck's computer out of time and the injectors are not pumping fuel. I can take the chip off and truck runs fine. Any ideas anyone?????? This is a big issue and should not be happen. I have changed fuel fiter twice thinking maybe that was the issue, but it is not. Please again anyone with any reason why this is happen responde back.

I am not sure about that, b/c if I take the chip off when it starts to act up, it will go back to running fine. I would think if I had a bent valve it would do it with the chip and without the chip. Any thoughts?
