Today I Tuned My 2007 Z06 And Am Confused

If you look at the product page for the U7194 Diablo Predator you see the following:
U7194 Stock Vehicle Tunes:#
93 Octane Performance Tune#
91 Octane Performance Tune,Corvette Only#
87 Octane Performance Tune,Truck & SUV only#
Modify Factory Tune
During the install, I never had a choice to indicate 93 octane. Is that assumed on the LS7 Z06 or is something not right? Why does Diablo tell me I'm going to get a choice if I'm not going to?

There is no difference between the 91 and 93 tunes, as they don't advance the timing on the 7194, they lean the engine to make the extra power. So, it is a default tune not user selectable. TM is gone with the stick, so is CAGS.

So Mike, are you saying that I no longer have control over TM by using "traction control" or "competition mode"? Maybe even a better question would be... How do I know WHAT has been changed on my Z06 with this Diablo LS7 tune? Is there anyone that can tell me?

TM is separate from TC and Active Handling. You have full TC and AH control with TM turned off, as it is supposed to be almost completely in the C6 M-6 and
Completely in the Z. Once TM is off it is off. TC will do its thing if wheel slip meets certain parameters, but TM will not pull timing. I always turn TC off if I want to go hard off the line--in a Z, your results may vary...
But the two are completely separate dynamics. Corvette Forum has good info on TM--I learned a lot from them.

That info should be edited to only show the 'Predator tune' for the Vettes.

Like Whitrock said, these are totally separate functions, TM just gets in your way....TC and AH are there to help!
