Hopefully we don't run into any problems like we had with the 6.0 on our first shot haha. Let me know guys and enjoy! Remember these new tunes only really apply to the L20 based family. Which includes quite a bit of cal id's but most noteably the -cf cal id that has been giving everyone problems. If you have the tuner and the tunes run good, you don't really NEED to update. Also if someone could test cruise for me it would be appreciated. I think i fixed the values that were causing the issue but I didn't get a chance to test it.

try this first. Restore the truck back to stock and clear all trouble codes that are possibly stored. Or yank the battery cable for about 30 mins. Retune it and see if the hard shifting is still there. If it is then we'll see about some custom tuning for you.arts4by4 wrote:I downloaded the new revision and I am still having the shifting hard issue on extreme?

Hey Don,
I tried that new tune you sent me but it won't load in. the tool says it is an improper cal id.
My ID's are: 8U7A-14C204-FC
8C3A-14C337-CA
Also while I was trying the new tune on some oil roads while working, if I let off the throttle then back on again, there would be no response from about 650 to almost 2000 rpm, then it would take off. Doesn't seem to be shifting as hard now, but I won't know untill I get out to the hiway and really open it up. Right now though it's stuck in original.
Thanks for all the help.
Bill
