Disable ESP

When the ESP is disabled within a modified tune...it states do you want to enter dyno mode? I am assuming this is yes? However, when the tune is loaded with it disabled, the light on the dash does not come on as it does when disabled manually. Is this accurate?

Yes, something I figured out the hard way. If you want the "dyno mode" ON, or in other words, ESP/BAS/ABS off, then the best way to do it is through the quick adjust menu after you've written the tune to the vehicle.

So.... if I disable the esp and put it in dyno mode, is it ok to drive around like this and play, or should you only do this if you're going to the track or going to race someone?

I guess it depends on how you're gonna drive and what the weather conditions are. With ABS/ESP/BAS and Cruise disabled I wouldn't consider that a good combination for pushing your car too hard unless you're out of harms way (private track, huge empty parking lot, etc). The only reason I tried it was to see if I could get the car to launch without bogging (timing being pulled by the computer) down.

If anyone is interested in trying a "track" tune with esp and abs disabled feel free to shoot me your last tune written and i will set it up for you.
Note: You will not have abs with the modified tunes hence it is recommend for track use only.
