Well i know that you have to be doing this http://www.diablosport.com/index.php?na ... opic&t=917 if you want if you want it gone. But i don't know if this helps. I'm sure someone will tune in to give you the best advice. But I think logging should do it.

this was discussed before, IF you have pinging you will see TSKR when you monitor your motor. So do some logging like the link about says and lets see if you REALLY have pinging. Post you log here so we can have a look.
RE: pinging >>>>>> with diablo >
What tune are you running, and what octane and brand fuel are you using?

he's in UAE, running about equivalent of 92 octane in a 6L. This was discussed before with no results because we didn't see a log.

Exerpt taken from Google Answers:
"In the United States, pump octane is an average of 2 ratings, research octane (RON) and motor octane (MON). If you look at any gas pump in the United States, you will see a yellow sticker that says "octane by R + M / 2" That is the basic formula for an average. These 2 numbers mean different things. You could make an analogy to that of a blood pressure reading (systolic and diastolic). Research Octane number is always higher than Motor Octane number.
In Europe, they only report the RON. You may hear people discussing that in Europe, the octane is higher. Well, that is not exactly true. You see, in Europe, you might find 96 octane at a local gas station. (wow 96, highest we have here is 94). Well, that 96 is equivalent to 92 here in the States."

1- our 6.2 escalade 441 hp http://www.cadillacarabia.com/content_d ... specs.html
2- us 6.2 escalade 403 hp http://www.cadillac.com/cadillacjsp/mod ... Powertrain

this info from wikipedia
The 2007 Cadillac Escalade has a 6.2 L Vortec 6200 (RPO L92) (≈376 cu in) engine. It is an all-aluminum design which, while still a pushrod engine, boasts variable valve timing, a first in a mass-produced non-overhead cam V8 engine. The system adjusts both intake and exhaust timing between two settings. This engine produces 402 hp (301 kW) and 417 ft·lb (565 N·m) in the GMC Yukon Denali/XL Denali, Sierra SLT, and in the GMC Sierra Denali, and rated at 403 hp (301 kW) and 415 ft·lbf (563 N·m) (441hp with 95 octane export version) in the Hummer and in the Cadillac Escalade. It is also available in the Chevrolet Tahoe LTZ, with power ratings of 395 hp (295 kW) and 417 ft·lbf (565 N·m).

Hello Dxb,
It's not really all because of the gas octane. If i'm correct the americans have an other messuring about the HP then they have here in europe. Ã
