unlocking a predator issue

I have a predator I bought 2 years ago for my 99 vette. I installed the custom tune when I had a new rear diff installed. About 6 months later I had a blower installed and a custom dyno tune at the same time.

I'd like to get my predator unlocked, but I can't reinstall the stock tune as it will kill my custom dyno tune. Can I just send my unit back to have it unlocked or is just a hunk of plastic now?
I've read posts that say unless I have restored the stock tune back to the vehicle, I can't do anything w/ the unit.

So now what can I do?

The Predator can only be used to tune one vehicle at a time. In order to use the Predator in another vehicle, yes, the backup would need to be restored to the Vette. You can save a copy of your custom tune from your Predator to your PC, so it can be reloaded to the Predator any time in the future.

Mike, unfortunately the tune that is the vette is not the predator tune anymore. It was custom dyno tuned for a supercharger setup which was done after I had installed the predator tune for the rear diff change pre supercharger. In my case, I can't restore the stock tune to the vette without losing my dyno tune.
Anything else that can be done? Can't I send my unit back to Diablosport and have it simply wiped clean and perhaps updated w/ new software for the $99 fee?

Troy, u will be ok at the dealer for simple stuff like an oil change as they don't check your computer each time for that. Most people just restore their stock tune w/ the predator before going to the dealership if they anticipate the dealership is going to do any pcm modifications.
