2000 5.3 suburban

I just recently loaded the 87 tune, but know I am having a hard shift to 2nd and 3rd gear and in the down shift when driving in town. What is even more interesting is that it doesn't happen all the time. If I stop and shut the truck off and restart it, then it goes away, but it will come back. Any suggestions?

Try lowering the line pressure settings by 5-10%.

That won't fix it. I have a 1999 5.3 silverado and it used to do the same thing...until Johan gave me a few custom tunes. He said he had to put a few shift tables back to stock..and it worked great. Hope this helps
