LACK OF ANSWERS ON CAL ID ISSUE

Why is Diablo not answering the questions about cal id issue that has surfaced with the recent pcm flashes? There are several in here from the past 2 to 6 weeks. Please don't tell me there is not time as other newer posts have been posted to by y'all. All we have been trying to find out is what the basic problem is and a reasonable time line for when (if) the new crom will be released. Ignoring the issue will not make it go away. I have $400 invested in a tool that I purchased due to all the positive information posted about it on the forums. It is now a paper weight and since we can't get answers it seems that it may continue to be that. I am quickly loosing all confidence in Diablo due to the obvious hiding of information and ignoring of posts. I apologize for this type of post but this was old two weeks ago with your lack of response.

It might help if you were a little more specific. What CROM? What vehicle? What are some of threads?

At this point, I am wondering what it is you want to hear?

Maybe try doing a little homework on this issue (on this forum) and you will see that we have NEVER just not added a calid.

Sometimes it takes longer than others, and if it does, it is generally for reasons out of our control, like the calibrations not being available from Chrysler.

We are working on it, and as soon as we have everything we need, we WILL release an update that will add support for whatever calibrations are currently missing.

Thanks

First off, thank you for finally answering one of these posts.

Since some of us are not sure what is going on (I assume Chrysler threw in unexpected data or tables), based on where you are at (we don't know) and what you know (which we also don't know) just how long do you think it will take? I'm assuming that the two week answer you gave before was based on prior experience but you hit an unexpected snag. Then no info for weeks. Waiting on the crom update was never my issue. Y'all not responding to the posts and leaving us in the dark is the issue. You tell us to post up and not PM and then never answer on this particular issue and there are several in here asking about this. Maybe a weekly update as to the status would be beneficial if you would do that. Don't mind waiting if I know whats happening, don't like being ignored.

As stated in the original post, I apologize for resorting to these tactics but silence tends to cause things like this. Once again thank you for the response and I await for possible status updates.

Back when the Challenger was announced, DS wasn't even sure if the u7135 tool would be compatible. They were thinkin' that they may need to release a new tool, it was too much of an unknown at the time. Thankfully, the u7135 was still the right tool for the new ECM configurations. It may take them a while to release the new CalID's but they will get released.

I have no doubt unless Chrysler did something really screwy. We knew it was going to take time but when their time estimate passed, info stopped. Questions were posted and weeks later when nothing had been answered, you begin to wonder whats going on. All we were looking for was a status of what was happening and maybe an estimate if they knew. No response is not the right answer.

The dealer flashed my challenger the other day, and now my predator won't work either. I can't even get in to adjust the fan settings.
This is the PCM in the car now 05187912AF

I just bought A vortech supercharger for 08 Jeep gc SRT8 ,, but I Can't install the tune I got from Vortech , because the VR7135 does not Support My CALID ( PCM : 05030376AC ). The Dealer Flashed my SRT8 and I installed the update (9r04) for the VR7135 , and its still the same .. with the same CALID not supported ..
