Dear DiabloSport team,
As we know Jeep Grand Cherokee/ Commander has not the best transmission in it's class. From one side it's thinking/shifting too slow , from another side all the time gear box not allow engine to run between 2,500 -3,500 RPMs but keep it between 1,500 - 2,500 RPMs in regular driving conditions. So I can't drive the car my way, little more aggressive than as usual.
The questions are following :
1) Is it possible to change the shift points using DiabloSport tuner and allow engine to run on higher RPMs such as 2500-3500 RPM ? If not, why ?
2) What about lock-in lock-out of hydrotransformer clutch , how can I shift it as well ?
3) What about MDS ? Is it possible to disable it ?
4) Should I install low temperature thermostat before performance tuning using DiabloSport Predator ?
5) When Predator for Jeep 05-06 will be available on sell ?
In fact in the documents claimed that 5,7 HEMI has 326 HP. May be you will not believe me, but I'm not feeling it on my Commander ... It's running even worse than my old Grand Cherokee WJ 4,7 '99 with just 220 HP (European one) I can't understand, why ? (technically it's 100% OK)
Actually I'm not happy with Jeep Commander for the moment in accordance with problems listed above. If problem with shift points could not be fixed some how, I'll migrate to BMW X5 or INFINITY FX45, such cars in stock settings running quite well, even without legendary HEMI engine ......
Best regards,
Kirill.

RE: Shift points change on Jeep Commander 5,7 HEMI
If things like the X5 or FX45 work for you, why in the world did you buy a Commander? You shoulda bought a Grand Cherokee SRT8, and you woulda been happy with your 420hp and Mercedes transmission
