Need Help with Predator U7194 - First Timer

Hi all
I am new to the programming field.
I bought the Predator U7194 for my 2007 Corvette C6 and today when I had the time to plug it in the vehicle, and went through the menu system, I reached the Performance Tune and it gives me one message " (3) This tood is not licensed for use with this vehicle".
The information I got from reading the info was Serial No, Part No, Version (v8r07) , Borm (11/28/2207 [2121]). Also the fuel we have in this area and which I am using is 98 Octane.
What is wrong? and how can I fix this unit?

I also read that some of the units are locked to the first vehicle it is used for enhancing the performance of the vehicle, and to use the unit on another vehicle, I have to return the first vehicle to factory sitting and then I can use the unit to modify the performance of the second vehicle. Ism't this defeating the purpose if I bought the unit to improve the performance of both vehicles?

you bought it used - and it's still locked to the previous owners car, cuz they didn't restore their original backup tune to their car before they sold it to you...

so, you can't use it on your car, cuz it's locked to the other guys car still...

you'll need to call up diablosport, and get ready to shell out another $129 to them so that they will unlock it for ya...

or, send it back to the original guy and tell him to restore his original backup to unlock the predator for you...

or, tell him you want a refund...

nope, that's how they ALL work man....

no handheld tuner/programmer will tune more than one car at a time...

it's SUPPOSED to work like that...


if you want to have both vehicles tunes at the same time, then you have to buy two programmers...
