Is there a predator in the works for the Pontiac G8 gt ??
Iam a past customer and need one for my 08 G8gt.

This update supports 08-09 G8 GT and GXP.

What gains are we looking at and will the shifting be firmed up with the tune??

about 15-20 hp/tq...

no shifting changes, since there is no TCM support yet - so can't adjust any tranny settings...

Then I gotta say.........what's the point ? That ain't a big power increase.

yeah, you'd be surprised man... with all the tweaks they make in their tunes, it really wakes the car up...

I'm on the fence. Superchips isn't going to do a G8 GXP tune. There's a local tuner (100 miles away) guy that seems to be pretty solid. But I'd like a handheld so I can make tweaks if I think I need to. Like if the tranny is shifting too hard or something.

But it has to be pretty simple...like a good canned tune that I can just download. And good instructions (are they on this site somewhere ??).

That said, what I really want is to program the tranny, that's more important than some extra power. Not that I'd OBJECT TO extra power, mind you..............

so....is TCM tuning on the horizon ?
