Just got my Predator today...

I just got my Predator today. I ordered a U7135 from BamaChips (this may have been a bad idea). I plugged it into my 2006 Charger R/T and when it powered up the display said "This is a U9000 Tuner Series tool. Please load a tuner series CROM file." Shouldn't the file have already been there? Or do I go to the downloads and load the 9r18 revision? I will also be calling BamaChips in the morning as well. Thanks for your help.

it right just dont download 9r18 its for the challenger use 9r12 peace

9r18 isn't just for the Challenger, just so you know. 9r18 is for the 09's (Challenger, Charger, 300, Jeep). Anything prior to that, should stick with 9r12.

So was it supposed to come this way? I was under the impression that the Diablo program would already be loaded on the unit.

D'OH!! they sent you a blank dealer/tuner series predator... that's no good to you...

dealers can buy "blank" predators and then run certain tuner-series crom files on them and turn that blank predator into whatever specific model they need it to be... they didn't program it to be the model # you need for your car... they just sent you the blank predator without programming it first...

you need to send it back to them and have them program it with their tuner-series crom file in order to make it a U7135 model predator for your car.
