Gear change 2009 Challenger R/T

Post by Wicked09 »

I have your Predator #7135 for my Challenger R/T. I'm going to be changing out the 306 rear gear for the Richmond 355. According to what you say the Predator can do, I should be able to adjust that with the tuner correct?? If so, where do I find that in the tuner and is it pretty easy to do?? Or do I need to down load an update?? I was also wondering if you can confirm that the rear end in the 09 Challenger R/T is the 215mm that I've heard it is. Other wise the Richmond gears won't work. Thanks.
Techco Intake, Modern Muscle Ported 85mm Throttle body, Corsa Cat Back, Predator Tuner, 373 Mopar LSD, JBA Shorty Headers, VVT cam by Arrington Hemi, Precision 3200 stall converter. MTCM, B&M trans cooler, High flow fuel pump, line lock,Nitto Drag Radials. Best time so far 12.5 @ 107.25

The R/T has the 210mm rear end, and Richmond does make 210 gears. Only the SRTs have the 215.

I have SRT manual 2009 and I can't change my gear ratio too. My Predator is U7135 rev 9R18.

That's not good news for me: I'm planning to run with hi-flo catalysators and therefore I will disable rear O2's. Is here another way? Maybe to get 9r17?

If you have to use the latest revision, you will need a custom tune.

I get the fail to change axle ratio also with the u1735 rev9r18 in my 09 r/t six speed. I would like to keep the egr off. If I export the tune I have now and save it as a custom tune, then get the new revison, will I be able to adjust axle ratio in my saved custom tune?
