So i finally got my 8psi pulley, for the vortech setup on my 06 SRT8 300c. i just need to know which tune i have to download. anyone can help me out??

bump................. anybody?? Johan?? there is no description for any of the Vortech croms. someone has to know which one is for 8psi pulley.

I am guessing that Vortech did the tunes so you may want to call them but I am not sure.

vortech worked with diablo on the tunes. everyone who has done the pulley swap, has gotten the tune from here, but nobody seems able to confirm which one it is. but ya ill try phoning vortech tomorow, and if they cant answer ill phone diablo

No, Vortech makes these tunes themselves, in CA.

If they offer a tune for the 8psi pulley, it would likely be listed in the tool as 8psi tune, or HO tune, or something like that.

One this to keep in mind is that just because they offer an 8psi pulley does not mean they offer a 8psi tune.
May need to look into some custom tuning, you'll be surprised at how much more power may be available.

Hope you did all the other stuff it's good to do when you go over 6 psi.

thats interesting. very different info than what is being said on the some of the lx forums.

there is a few R&D cars for vortech, that are running this pulley. and they said there is an actual tune available now for this pulley.

like?? its been proven now that 8psi is safe on the stock block. there has been a lot of R&D put into tuning by vortech. heck, there is a guy running 15psi on a kenne bell set up. cant say i would trust that, but if 8psi pops a ring land on me. then i have an excuse to order a 426 stroker

The ring lands pop due to chamber temps, not power. Forged wouldn't hurt, but with 8psi you're running with a bit less margin if something isn't just right or goes wrong. Some of the other stuff that might be nice to have would be things like water/meth for temps (not for tuning to it), afr and egt gauges, etc. Those sorts of things.
