Service 4x4/Reduced Engine Power and tire size question

Post by PredatorZ-71 »

I Just recieved my predator (U7193) for my 03 silverado 1500 today and so far it's awesome but I do have a coupe of concerns...

First everytime I install or modify a tune it tells me "Service 4x4" Then after the tune is installed just before it tells you to unplug the unit it says "Reduced Engine Power".Is this normal and either way why does it do it?

The second thing is I noticed my speedo is way off so I checked my door and the tire to find if it is the right size (265/75/R16) and it is.So I set that or at least I think I did.The unit read width-265 ratio-75% rim-16...not sure if thats right the % through me a little but anyway after driving it the speed still seems off and I rechecked the unit and the setting for it didn't take but the shift pressures I changed did. What did I do wrong and did I do the tire size right?

Thanks in advance for the help and also for a great product!

Tire size is done in the modify tune menu after you select the tune you wish to install.

Hey z71, I has similiar issues with my 7193. I would enter my tire size in there by sidewall or by overall height and it wouldnt take either one. Johan from diablo wrote me a custom tune and we got it dialed in. But seems odd its off if your sure your tires are stock height..
