CGSRT8 / 06 U7135 not tuning or restoring original tune

Plugged the tool, followed the prompts up to cicle key off/on.... took forever.... and nothing happened. turned the key off, unplugged the tool,
plugged the tool back, followed the prompts to restore the original tune up to cicle the key off/on and nothing happened........... tool states the original program was not installed and it is locked at this message.
Did updated the tool with the last croms prior to trying to tune may CGSRT8.
Please, someone HELP ME!

Thanks for the reply, but after trying many times I found out that I had to remove the key from the ignition, and everything was OK.

I had my tune in all right.........
