Power Supply Tip Positive or Negative?

I have a DS VR7135 I purchased for my 2008 SRT8 Challenger. My question is on the power supply. Is the tip for the optional ac power supply positive or negative? I have a muli adapter, but it has an optional positive/negative polarity tip.

center is positive...

Mike,
I have a power adapter with multiple output selection (12vdc is one) and multiple plugs (has the correct one) to interface the hand held Predator. My question is regarding the advertised output current. The specifications on your sight (for a Radio Shack model) indicated a current of 1000mA (1 amp) supply. Mine says 300mA (.3 amp) does this matter?

Hopefully the power supply melts before the Predator? (just guessing)

doubt it will work with only 300 ma.
