bought the predator on wednesday (over 400 dollars w/shipping)... delivered to my door step this afternoon... plugged it into my 06 300C and... ... wait for it... it needs an update. additional cord is 70 bucks or so with shipping. give me a break. bad form diablosport. bad form. could/ve used that info. not impressed

If you're paying $70 for the cables, then you have worse issues then needing an update. No only that but you got Fucked on the unit itself.
You could have gotten the Predator, with the cables and a 180 degree T-Stat, with Free Shipping for $375 at numerous retailers.
And if you would have read the forum above, you'd have known that you needed the cables since updates are released regularly.
Not sure what you thought you were buying, but Tuning is not a set it and forget it mod. It does require updates.
Oh, and just so you know, its not the Predator that needs an update, its your car. Are you gonna go whine to Chrysler about it too?? Go bitch to your dealer, they should have updated it last time it was in for service.

sorry if i got under you skin boss but i guess i wasnt privy to all that information. i understand that it takes some knowledge/resource to use this product... the 70 dollar figure i got for the cables is off the this website so... i dunno, guess im gonna have to fork over the cash. i bought the predator because of the things i've read about it being a great product to use, just alittle misinformed

i retract the previous rant... got a serial cable from a local retailer on sat. used the perf 91oct tune w/CAI, turned the MDS off. WOW. very responsive, and roars 30 to 70 mph. *open mouth, insert nike*

Well to be fair yeah if you did alot of research you'd see that it needs updates... but on the other hand, i went to 3 diff sellers before i got mine, and all of them said you just plug it in and its ready, nobody informs you of it needing an update, if they had told me as well i would have gotten the cable from them right away, whats aother 40$ for a very impressive product, its just that no retailers inform you. Not a big deal tho, but i can just see where he's comming from.

same here, plugged it up and still waiting 4 months for an update to use it. they need to advertise product may not work after purchase.
