2006 Mustang GT - starting problem

Having issues starting the car. I had to get a jump this morning. This seems to happen when I let the car sit for a few days without starting it.
Is is possible that the Diablo Tune program is drawing power somehow or causing this to happen. The battery indicator is showing past halfway mark.

very strange...I am having doubts about the tune as the car never did this till I installed the Diable Predator 90mm CAI Steeda IRMC Delete Plates Tune.

Please advise....I am afraid of driving the car and having this happen when I park somewhere.

No, there is nothing in the tune that would drain the battery.

Id have the dealer look at it.

Guys, just found this post stream on Ford Forums Regarding 2005 Ford Mustang Starting problems, identical to my issue :

cut and paste in your browser. Bottom line, turns out that a constant battery draw in the Ford OEM Radio of 1.64 amps due to a faulty wiring issue. Notes the symptoms identical to my 2006 GT issue.

Be careful, even after the radio is fixed you will notice about a 115 milliamp draw on the battery for about 90 minutes after the car is turned off and then it will drop down to about 25 milliamps. I also have an 06 GT and Ford has told me time and time again, this is not the car to have sit for a week. Hope that helps......

my car has sat for weeks on end and always starts right up just fine. It is a 2006 Mustang GT built in March 2006 with the stock shaker 1000 system and original battery.

I think the battery was just also on it's last leg. Bought a new one today cranking amps 690 and what a difference. The motor craft battery just wasn"t adequate., it was 3 years old.

Trick is to turn off the radio before turning the car off, unfortunately.
