i have a delta chip out of my dads old 96-98 f250 diesel 7.3
he sold the truck but pulled the chip out, i dont have any of the manuals for the chip, i need the installation manual and i need to know what years it will work on.

The delta chips are computer box code specific. Not every truck from 1996-1998 is tuned the same and they use varying software that is designated by the the box code on the outside sticker of the PCM. You would most likely have to have matching PCM's for that chip to work as is.
The chip itself will work on most ford cars and trucks from 1989-2004 but will need to be re-programmed to be compatible with the pcm of that particular vehicle.
