more torque??

Post by sar2547 »

jsut got the u7193 for my '05 chevy 2500HD 6.0L gasser. I mainly got this programmer to add some more torque when pulling my boat. I installed the 87 octane tune. I know how to find the TM settings, but i am unsure what to set them at, i think there are 3 TM settings/parameters. I want to eliminate or minimize my TM. Been a few times that i have been stopped at the bottom of a steep hill and have had a hard time getting up it with boat in tow(7500 lbs). I also have a CAI and am running 33's. More torque please...

The TM does not affect low end torque, well not the parameters that are adjustable, those are only for the timing removed during a shift. We have maximized the tm settings for low end torque in the regular predator tunes. I would recommend a roots style blower for some more low end torque, or maybe a turbo, :D
