i recently purchased a predator model number u-9171 and tried to install, after it copied original tuner i went to the diablo tuner and tried it only to get a code saying
invalid license. the tune in this vehicle does not match the last tune written.
i had a alarm put in a couple of weeks ago with auto start and i know they had to tap into the the factory settings in the computer for the factory alarm to get around it. do you think that is the problem? and if so what could i do to get the predator to work?

Well, remote starters are definitely an issue, but they should not cause an invalid license issue.
It sounds like the tool is locked. Did you buy it brand new?
Look under Options>show last tune written and post up what is listed there.

After re-doing the process the only thing it came up with original back-up.
