downloader searching com3

i have a U7137 REV 2.2.1.4 2006 dodge ram 1500 trying to hook up to my pc but all it says is searching com3 and the only ports i have on my laptop are 4-9 and i can't find a option to change the port it only shows port 3 any ideas?

Is the driver installed properly?

no it says driver was not installed properly how do i fix this problem i have a usb to serial and i'm running windows 7?

Similar problem here with U7140. There's a COM-port selection dropdown in DSDownloader, but all it shows/allows is COM3. I can install on COM4, 5, or 6.
