Dealing with the devil?

Post by newber »

I have a 04 Duramax and have the correct Predator for the LB7..sorry cant recall the u number...? But here is the problem...I have installed tune {65} many times and every time I get this wierd thing happening...I get in the truck and notice all the gauges are bouncing and I hear Click Click Click...
I tried pulling fuses but so far have not hit the right one..The only way to stop this is to start the truck...and sometimes it still does it and I have to rev the thing up and it will stop...Now I think that a prize for the wierdest problem is in order so I'll be expecting a window sticker or something to remind me how I still love this product after it kills a battery or two...I'm afraid to go on vacation and leave this demon alone in my truck..what next the radio will play by itself? So what do you think oh great ones?

Thats an odd one, I have never heard of that before....makes me wonder if there is a bad ground or something in the truck?

I went to work this AM put in park, set brake, shut off ign, hopped out closed door, locked with fob and stood and watched and listened...all was good...came back 8.5 hours later and peeked in and the thing is doing it again! Sometimes right when I shut it off and sometimes not at all???
It's like it's going through the start mode or something???
I will check all grounds. thx

Was this devil action happening before you loaded the Predator program? Most likely not. Take the tune out (return to stock) and see what happens. If the truck acts normal no sense in tracing a suspected bad ground.

Yes it has stopped with tune out...but no tune, man it's like a day on the streets with no crack, a plane with no wings,, a burger with no bun...what's a player to do with a stock duramax, loan it to gramps to pull his 5th wheel?
Guess I should consider sending unit back for sometype of "inspection"?
