DSLogRedux vs. COT Protection

We are looking at logs where, in some instances, during WOT, the COT kicks in and it craters the WOT AFR.

We are working to update the code to handle this and to provide better AFR WOT adjustment.

This will require and additional mandatory parameter to log (Cat Temp).

This improved code is in the works. Not sure of an ETA.

Certainly before TCM support is released.

yep, the new mandatory/required parameters that will have to be logged are:

Catalyst Temperature Bank 1 Sensor 1

Catalyst Temperature Bank 2 Sensor 1

How depressing.

But not nearly as depressing as my presently useless Predator... been too busy to call in and get a force restore code. Wish they we're open like an hour longer lol. I generally have a non-busy gap between 5-6:00, but I'm central time >_<

we are looking for people to send us WOT data logs that we can use to test with...

so, if you all could please do a good WOT log and send it to us at [email protected], that would be awesome!

you need to log the same parameters you normally do, but now you also need to log:

Catalyst Temperature Bank 1 Sensor 1

Catalyst Temperature Bank 2 Sensor 1

Thanks!!

It's not a work thing, it's a me being near my truck thing. Working is only a problem on Tuesdays.

I generally don't even get to see my truck till around 4:30. I could probably get to it at some other point during the day, but if I have to wait 20 minutes to get someone on the phone I won't have time to do anything with the Predator.

That's why I made the comment in the other thread about wishing they made a universal force restore code... In fact, for the next update guys, please implement this, it is utterly annoying having to call to get the code >_< I figure it's probably done to prevent people from screwing things up, but a simple notice saying doing it will void the warranty should suffice (which is irrelevant in my case because my predator is a month out of warranty anyway).

For that matter I'd very much prefer being able to update my Predator without having to restore the original backup in the first place...

Also I'll send yall a log as soon as (if) my Predator quits making an ass of itself, lol.

I don't believe you... hahahaha...

when going to log the data, you don't have Catalyst Temperature Bank 1 Sensor 1 or Catalyst Temperature Bank 2 Sensor 1 available as a selectable parameter??

did you try the GM Complete list??

did you try using your laptop and the dataviewer, and seeing if they're available via the dataviewer??

you have an 05 truck - those parameters HAVE to be availalble for you to log...

I know they're in there...

wow, even if the COT is maxed out it still dumps extra gas?

no...if you disable the COT cuz you have no CAT's, by maxing out the temp, it will not dump in extra fuel...

Do you want COT disabled or left alone?
