removing cats

Is there any performance and/or mileage gain by removing those cats from the exhaust. I live in a great place where they don't do those lame vehicle emission inspections so I don't need to worry about passing them. Run without those cAts if possible. I have a '03 5.3l with the newest revision from the update.

Keep the cats. You don't need to remove them unless you are pushing 500+hp

Cut them off!!! I just did that on my 08 3500. The top end power is alot better.
