P0106 Code

Post by randybailey »

I have a 2001 duramax. I bought a Predator a couple weeks ago and download a tune. It runs great except the P0106 code which is a map sensor. I have a K&N filter on it which i cleaned and also cleaned the map sensor. I have upgraded the exhaust. The code keeps coming back. Any answers?

You mention cleaning the air filter and the MAP sensor, are you sure you didn't clean the MAF?
The MAF is right after the filter, but the MAP sensor is connected to the intake manifold, and may be bad.

Thanks

You are right. I was cleaning the one after the filter. I will check the right one out this time. Thanks.

Now i get P0108

Post by randybailey »

I found the MAP Sensor and after finding out by the GM dealer that the MAP sensor is just checking air and it don't have a hose hooked up to it. I put a new one on and now i am getting a P0108 code. what is the purpose of the thing if it is not hooked up to any hose? The code is high input pressure. How could i be getting high input without any hose hooked up?
