Updating U7146 with latest revision....

I have Predator U7146 and have never updated. I want to update now but need to know what type of USB to serial adapter I need, 9 or 25 pin. I was looking at this one from Sewell http://sewelldirect.com/usbtoserial.asp.
Also, do I need to return the factory tune to my car prior to updating the predator? I didn't see any mention to this in the instructions for updating the Predator.

Not sure how you missed this in the instructions:

Note: You MUST restore the stock tune to the vehicle prior to updating the revision of ANY Predator

Mike - I am returning my U7158 (serial number 170937) to you for the upgrade and have already received my RMA. I would like to bring it to you and perhaps discuss tuning my truck - I live in Broward County. Do you sell the USB adaptor cable? Is it necessary for me to have one?
