Remove your Trinity CD from the package, and install the drivers, the DSDownloader, and the Dataviewer software.

Do not plug the device into the USB cable until the driver has been installed.

Once you have successfully installed the Trinity drivers, you may plug the Trinity into the USB cable and plug it in to the computer.

Launch the DSDownloader from your desktop, and select Trinity, then click accept modifications, and the DSDownloader will search for and find your Trinity.

You may now register or update your Trinity.

Click on the RPM gauge.
Select 'set shift light'.
Set the RPM you would like the shift light to activate, press enter.
You'll now select whether you want one (1) LED, all LEDs, or a progressive shift light.

Now, click record and your shift light will be activated.

Enable Extreme Puck Output reduction

If you have an EGT and a Puck hooked up to your Trinity, you can set an alarm for the EGT temp and have the Trinity reduce the Pucks power output to 1/3 of its current level when the alarm is triggered.

In logging, click on the EGT gauge, and select Set Gauge Alarm.
Enter the value to trigger the alarm and select which LED to display the alarm.

You will then be asked if you would like to 'Enable Xpuck Output Reduction' YES/NO.

Once you choose yes, close and save the layout.

Select yes, and now anytime the EGT reaches your predetermined set point, the puck output will immediately be reduced to 1/3 of its previous power level, as long as you are logging/monitoring in this layout.

To convert display units from say kPa to PSI, open the layout in logging, click on the gauge, and select change display units.
It will tell you what units are currently displayed, and will tell you what alternative is available, to select that alternative choose yes.

That gauge will now display the alternative units.

If i have not done this yet will it cause the tunes not to work? Mine is brand new. just pulled it out of the box. i cant get the software to work on my Mac and the quick start guide said to plug it into the car and do the set up. i done all that and installed the diablo tune with a few shifting adjustments and air flow adjustments.. it installed and said it was safe to drive however im not noticing a difference. I'm driving an 08 pontiac G8 GT with the 6.0L. and I have the trinity t1000? any suggestions :?:

the necessary software for the Trinity will NOT work on a MAC.. you have to be running WINDOWS....

so, you will need to find/use a Windows PC/laptop to use in order to update your trinity... or, you will have to run Windows on your MAC with bootcamp or parallels desktop...

Hi guys...new to forum. On the corvette forum often. I picked up a trinity for my eforce s/c 2006 z06 and it only had a cable obd included...no instructions, CD or anything.

I would like to get whatever else I need, also a tune for an eforce LS7 if you have something since my so called custom tune from injection connection is total crap.

Right now id like to raise idle and adjust fan speed right away.

Can I do this without changing the current tune? The hand held from edelbrock is useless just as was their phone techs.

Then, as mentioned lets see about that canned tune. Thanks!
