Is it possible to have an optimized tune ?

on my 2007 Z06 :
- Vararam VR-SC1R
- Dynatech headers + cats + x-pipe (stock catback)

other than that, if you want more of a custom tune with additional tweaks/adjustments made to your tune file to get you more performance, click on the "DiabLew Tuned!" logo in my sig for cost and info about getting a custom tune for your car.

I read on some forums that vararam + predator results on a too lean condition
and on others forum, than long tubes cause too lean condition without any tune. i don't understand why

while logging with the trinity (perf tune not installed), my AFR is between 11 and 14.75 (stock sensors)

Useless? I guess you didn't try too hard....

Option 1)

Install the software as is (32 bit version). It will install in c:\Program Files (x86) and will run perfectly...

Option 2)

If you don't believe that will work, then do this

If you have Win7 x64 Pro, or above, download the XP virtual machine from MS (it's free and works great)

Install in XP32 virtual machine within Win7. It will install and run fine there as well...

If you don't think that will work, then

Option 3)

Assuming you chose Win7x64 Home Premium (not sure why you would choose a 64bit OS lower than the Pro version given the still prevalent 32 bit software out there), PM me and I can send you an x64 version.

It's still a beta, but has tested out fine so far.

Now, if you are in an administrator account, you're good.

If not, install it from an elevated state as an administrator. To learn how, check Start-->Help and Support and search on "iinstall as administrator".

OK... so the software DID install....

Can you,

1) Post the log

and/or

2) a screen shot or transcription of the error.

Are you in an administrator account? PLEASE install it from an administrator account.

IF yes, and it is a system error (not a DSLogReduc generated error)...

uninstall DSLogRedux, Uninstall the Microsoft .Net Framework 3.5

reinstall DSLogRedux. DSLogRedux will automatically prompt you to install the framework. Make sure you are connected to the interent, and make sure any routers/firewalls are configured to allow you do download and install from microsoft.

I also recommend turning User Account Control OFF for the install. Actually, I recommend turning it OFF all together, but that's another post/discussion.

If it is a DSLogRedux error, please post the log so I can look at it.

What kind of machine? What OS (Win 7 x64 Home Premium/Pro/Ultimate?)

tried without any change : error message
tried in XP compatibility mode : error message
tried in XP compatibility mode as administrator : no error message, but "no data" everywhere
tried in virtual XP : "no data", with my log, or with the test one

uninstalled from W7, so, no error screenshot
that was about security access to folders and others
