Windows 7 Prolific USB Driver Download

I found this yesterday, didn't see a recent post so I thought I put it up in case anyone needed them. This driver worked perfectly on my Windows 7 x64 laptop.

Did you need to use a certain usb cord with it?

This is for the serial cable that is used to connect the Predator to a computer. I thought this had an RS232 connector on one end and a USB connector on the other.

It's only for the Prolific USB to Serial hardware, you can check the hardware ID in device manager to see if it's the one you have.

Guys, I've tried these drivers as well as all the ones in the download section. I keep getting the same error.

"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)"

Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong. Seems like noone else is having this kinda trouble getting ds downloader to work on windows 7.... This is why I hate a new O.S.

None of the drivers work for me on Windwos 7 (Professional) 64bit.
Install just says Driver install failed, and I get a yellow question mark in Device Manager.

And I only see a Windows Vista driver as mentioned to use in another thread,
but there is nothing showing a 32bit or 64bit version... it's just one "Vista" download.

Where is the Windows 7 64bit driver for the USB to Serial cable

If you have the prolific cable the link at the top of this thread is for 7 x64 and other versions of Windows.

This will work with windows 7 as well as XP or Vista.

I haven't been able to update using windows 7 laptop. Just tried these drivers still get error message when plugging in cable. Drivers not installed

I am having trouble updating my new predator to the 9r04 release. I have installed the driver from the CD that came with the USB to Serial cable and power supply and have tried downloading the Prolific Drivers v110 for Windows 7. When I plug in the cable to my USB port it tries to install the device drivers however it returns a message of unsuccessful (unable to install) I open DSDownloader and it can't seem to connect to the tool. Please advise.

Opened DSDownloader

Plugged in USB cable (other end attached to Predator) power supply attached to predator – Predator powered up

Installing device driver software (notification appears upon USB cable being connected)

Device Driver Software was not successfully installed (notification appears shortly there after)

I don't know if everyone else is having luck, but this driver isn't working for me either.

This worked for me (Windows 7) after I uninstalled a previous attempt and removed all USB controllers (from device manager), and then restarted. It rebuilt the USB controllers and then I did a clean install of this driver and it worked.

I've tried and tried, uninstall, reinstall, nothing is working and I can't get a connection to my U7135. This is the message I keep getting in device manager for this:
This device is not configured correctly. (Code 1)
The name is already in use as either a service name or a service display name.
To find a driver for this device, click Update Driver.
I'm really starting to think there's something wrong with my new computer or the driver software. Anyone got anything???

I am having the same driver issues on my windows 7 based pc. I've tried 4 different computers and I have to be able to upload my factory tune to be sent to get a custom tune. I'm extremely frustrated and getting upset that I can't use my U7193 and all of its functions.
