So why do people always say it leaves a paper trail on the ECU for the dealer to see and void the warranty when you take it in for routine maintenance before the warranty is up?

they say that, because perhaps other products from other manufacturers do...
but the diablosport products do not... so no worries...

Oh really? No trace? Sweet. I don't want the dealer blaming the tune for GM's shitty transmissions.

nope, no worries... as long as you "restore original backup" before you take the vehicle in for service work...

How about lost memory?
I s it correct that when you change your tune your erasiing your previous memory & starting over? If so won't the dealer see that you have minimal memory? Would you have to put on some miles first like for a NY inspection? 09 challenger SRT8
RE: How about lost memory?
DiabloSport does not wipe the computer clean and install new software. It installs different values within the OEM software and then returns those values back when the car is returned to stock.
The only thing that would be cleared are any diagnostic codes. When that is done, whether by the predator or any other diagnostic device, the vehicle must go through a readiness drive cycle so that the computer can test the function of the emissions equipment and vehicle for proper function. That is why you need to put on miles to the car before smog inspections. When the smog station runs a computer check, the computer will state whether it has completed its drive cycle tests and that everything is working okay. It is not a Predator side effect, it is the nature of anything that reads and clears diagnostic codes.
