I run a repo company and I need to figure out a way to increase my gas mileage. I'm not worried about gaining power as much as I'm worried about gaining gas mileage. Actually, I dont need power at all; just gas mileage

I was talking with Premier Performance out of Idaho and they suggested either the Extreme Puck or TS Performance's MP-8.

With this truck being a "medium" duty truck I've been told my options are going to be limited on what can program this vehicle.

If anyone can shed some light on this topic I'd really appreciate it.

The Extreme Puck is the hot ticket for a Medium Duty application.

It can add up to 30% power increase and up to 2-4 MPG at the turn of a knob...give it a shot.

Can you increase MPG more and make less power or is this just one of those cases where power and MPG comes hand in hand?

Do you have any thoughts on this MP-8

Ok I've made my mind up... Diablo doesn't seem to ever let me or my customers down so I'll give the Extreme puck a shot.

Which one do I need though? The P2030 or the M4000
This is a cab/chassis vehicle (Jerry Dan; flat bed tow truck)

I'm not sure what they call it. Jerr Dan builds the flat bed... it looks kinda like one of these:

But it had a Duramax motor in it.

I think they call them a Kodiak?

I gave the VIN# to GM and they are saying its a TopKick/Kodiak...
so? survey says?

I guess I wont be ordering this today...

Thanks Mikel... I'll get one ordered up today.

Curious though, if you a moment... I called TS Performance and this other outfit Dr. something or another and asked them what the difference was between their units and Diablo's unit and they didn't really have much to say. Long story short, they didn't have an answer on why theirs was better but TS kept saying "... our programming is different and better..." I didn't want to really put their sales rep in the hot seat so I left it at that and got off the phone. Do their units do more than JUST increase power and MPG? They are almost double the price of an Extreme puck.

So Mikel, what is the difference? Thoughts?

As far as I have seen, they work very similarly, and for half the cost, you cant go wrong....

The M4000 part number says its for an LLY... My engine is a LMM?
