New Predator-doesn't work

I have a 2007 Corvette, 6 speed, 6.0, number eight digit is U.

Predator is U7194 Serial number 215427

I just got this and it doesn't seem to have any tunes in it. It only gives me the option to install my stock tune or modify it.

It also says my tune has been saved and needs to be exported to DS.

What do I do. I won't have my PC connection for a few days.

PS. Version is 9R10

You need to purchase a PC Interface kit or source the parts from a local store like radioshack. Your Predator is not set up for your PCM software. So, you need to export the data that Predator recorded to your PC, email it to diablosport, and wait for the predator update that supports your pcm to be released. It usually takes them less than a week to turn around an update for a missing CALID in the U7194 tool.

I can't get the file off of the predator. I was told this was because I had not loaded a file onto the car. I wish someone who could give me directions would give me a call. I'm very frustrated at this point. 432-557-2959

Select the modify stock tune option, which will allow the predator to read a copy of the tune out of your car, then connect it to our DSDownloader program and extract a copy of the original backup and send us that.

I am having the same problem with my u7194 for my 06 vette. WTF is DS downloader?? This thing has a tiny instruction manual that is absolutely useless! Yes i am frustrated also!

I just got my Predator 7194 for use with my 2006 Corvette and I am having the same problems. The message from the Predator was as follows:

Your calibration is not currently supported. Predator will try to save your Original Backup. Press enter to view CALID.

Question: When will the update be available for 2006 Corvettes?

Make sure the predator says 9R10 at the top of the main menu screen. If not, then you need an update

I just received the Predator in the mail yesterday and it is the latest version.

okay, then what you need to do is hook up the predator to your PC at home/office and upload the original backup that was recorded by the predator. You can post it here or email it to [email protected]. Once they get a copy of your software they will send you an updated predator software AKA crom file that will recognize and properly tune your vehicle's particular software. Turn around time on these GM software updates is about a week depending on their workload.

I'm pissed at this point. First I was told it would be here by Tuesday the 10th, then Thursday the 12th, when I called they said it would be out by Friday or Monday the 16th. I called on Monday and they said it would definetly be out by Wed the 18th. It's Thursday and still no file.

I understand that it takes a while since there are so many different program but meanwhile I have a $350 paperweight.

What gives? Does it really take two weeks to get this done.

I don't mean to be a jerk but you have to see things from my perspective.

email sent...and yes, sometimes it takes more than 2 weeks to create tunes and add support for dozens of vehicles...its not as easy as you may imagine it.

Alright. I had the car reflashed to the stock tune by a chevy dealer but it still says it is not supported. I just sent an email with what I pulled after the reflash.
