I have 2007 F-150 Harley edition. 9R05 sucked!! 9R06 would not load! 9R07 will not load either. Getting a little frustrated!!! Please help.

What is the error you get when you try to load 9r06 or 9r07?

i spoke with Vas last week, he was aware of the problem and assured me that 9R07 release was taking care of it.

I am confused...you say you cant load 9r07 but it is supposed to be the fix....so, does 9r07 load?

No. both versions update the device with no problem. however i cannot get the device to install either tune, 9R06 or 9R07. both versions get stuck in a loop. cannot put last tune - restore original backup. Vas conifirmed others are having the same issues with 9R06 and that 9R07 would be the fix. well it has not fixed anything. same error on both latest versions.

Did you restore the original backup before you updated it everytime? What tune is in the truck right now? stock? Does the truck still run?

yes, i restored the original backup prior to each update. the truck runs fine. i have the stock program installed.

ok i located the calid # RXDE4D6. the tool is stuck in a loop trying to restore the original tune. Please help me reset the tool. it is useless at this time.

Give us a call with the tool powered up and we will reset it and then you can use 9r05 for the meantime.

I am having the same problems. 2007 f 150 4.6L. It says it cannot install 9r07, then it says that it cannot install the original backup. the truck seems to be running okay though. I am just as frustrated, i bought it 3 months ago and have yet to be able to use it.

This sounds very familiar. I have not put 9r07 on my predator yet to try it but 9r06 put me in the endless loop. It loaded perfectly to the tool and never wrote anything to the truck (but did lock itself to the truck). Right now, I have the stock tune loaded (from the prep to go from 9r05 to 9r06. I am pretty frustrated also. I bought the thing just to fix my speedo for larger tires (and 9r05 wont do that) and 9r06 wont do anything. I guess I will try 9r07 tomorrow and see where I get. Fortunatly, I am still within my 30 days so if its not straightned out, I can still send it back.

Ok guys, I have finally duplicated this issue on our in-house truck. We are working like mad to fix it and we will post up the fix ASAP so keep checking the the downloads page for the next update.
