Digital Gauge - RPM min/max not working...

Post by 06MonteSS »

on the digital gauges, it has the min/max values underneath the live readout...

for engine speed (rpm), it's not working... the min/max is always at 0 / 9000 rpm... it doesn't change at all...

my car doesn't even go up to 9000 rpm... heh...

engine speed is a standard gauge that will always be 0-9000 rpm, at least the way it sits right now.

but how come the other gauges show the min/max values from your live readings, and they change when a new min/max value is hit... but the rpm one does not??

Cause they are not RPM gauges?

Its pretty simple....rpm gauges are generally used for a known/given range, thus it can be pre scaled. A min/max feature would be cool for a tach though, at least a Max....
